HEIC — High Efficiency Image Format — is highly efficient: it produces pictures with roughly 50 percent less storage of comparable JPEGs maintaining high photo quality.Yet there is a major catch. HEIC is an Apple-specific file type that is not broadly compatible beyond the Apple
